Valentines Series: The Pink Sweater

 The Pink Sweater

-1 sweater, 3 ways-

Happy Friday! Welcome to the first post of the valentine series! I'm so excited to start this series because it gives me an excuse to bring out all of my pink, purples and whites (and who doesn't love this!). Today, I will be focusing on a pink sweater and styling it 3 different ways!

Casual

First we have the casual look! For this, I decided to pair the sweater with my favorite pair of Levi's shorts (I'm a big fan of the "sweater and shorts" combo) and a pair of white sneakers. I think it is the perfect combination of casual, comfy and cute! Here's some more inspo to recreate this look!

Fancy

For the second look, I decided to go a little bit more fancy. I paired the same sweater with black jeans, silver flats and a pearl chunky headband. Right off the bat, in my opinion, pairing black jeans with anything elevates your outfit already. By adding the silver flats and the headband just wraps the whole look together! Again, here's more inspo to recreate the outfit!

Girly

For the third and final look, I opted for more of a girly look. I paired, again, the same sweater on top of a white dress, added some sneakers (of course) and a light purple headband. I think this might just be my favorite one!

February Moodboard

January went by so fast and it is evident given the fact that my last post here was for the January Moodboard! It just has been extremely busy here but I promise I will post more blog posts this month!

Anywayssss, here's the moodboard for this month! When I think of February, I immediately think of all shades of pink, hearts, and everything girly. This is what inspired this desktop screensaver that I hope you all like.

I also decided to make four phone screensavers that correlate with Valentine's Day theme. As always, just click on the picture and save the image and you're good to go. Enjoy!

January Mood Board

January Mood Board

When I think of January, I think of blues, grays and different shades of pink! For this year, I want to start doing monthly mood boards that represent each month! You can easily put this as your computer screen (that's what I did!) or as your phone wall paper. Simply save this image and you are ready to go. Hope you like it!

Dress (Similar 1, Similar 2, Similar 3) | Boots

January 4, 2021. It feels so crazy to say that a new year has started! 2020, even with all of its craziness, went by in a blink of an eye. And again, even with its craziness, good things came out of it. Like this blog! I started this hobby of mine in May 24 of 2020 to be exact and I didn’t really know where it was going to take me. It turns out, I loved it and I hope to continue and to grow this upcoming year. 2021 will for sure be a year that will make up for 2020 since a lot of exciting things will be happening! For one, this may I’ll be graduating from my bachelors and in the fall I will be starting my masters! Anyways, I hope this year brings everything that 2020 didn’t bring (good obviously!).

Last Minute Holiday Gift Guide

If you are anything like me, then you are always leaving things to last minute and that includes Christmas shopping! It is officially one week before Christmas eve and I am barely posting a gift guide (whoops!) but it's never too late to start shopping! So, I decided to round up some of my favorite things as part of this year's holiday gift guide! These items are perfect if you are shopping for your mom, your sisters, your best friends, literally any one! Hope you like them!

1 | I am so bad at doing my own nails and I know I am not the only one who faces that struggle! This add on called "The Poppy" from Olive & June to any nail polish really helps your hand steady while painting your nails and they come out perfect!

2 | When I first bought "The Poppy" I thought it would only fit nail polishes from the same brand so I went ahead and I bought this really pretty lilac nail polish. I was really surprised at the quality and how smooth it applied to the nail! They come out with color palettes and the one shown is the winter color palette and all of the colors are perfect!

3 | I am no beauty, skin care expert but I came across this product from tik tok (ha ha guilty!) and after seeing a lot of great reviews I decided to splurge on it! This face cream really helps you even out the redness from your skin and you will be surprised at how far very little cream does to your face!

4 | Going off with beauty, I am so excited to try this liquid blush from the brand "Rare" by Selena Gomez. I've never tried a liquid blush before but I find the concept of it really really cool. Plus! That presentation is just too pretty to not want it!

5 | You can't really go wrong with a candle! That's all I have to say about that!

6 | I love gold simple jewelry and when I saw this necklace I completely fell in love! It's such a sweet and nice gesture for your loved one.

7 & 8 | Both of these gifts are cute and practical! You know that a water bottle and a trinket dish will always be useful so might as well go with that!

Hope you all found this helpful!

I love dresses.....

Dress | Shoes | Headband

I love dresses that you can really change them up (and the whole look of them) by just switching your shoes! One of the reasons why I love summer so much is because of this. So when I found this dress (under $15!) I knew it was going to do the job but for winter! First, I decided to wear it with a pair of silver flats and a blush chunky headband. I thought it was the perfect combination for when you need to feel dressed up but still be comfortable.

Dress | Boots | Bow

For this next look, I paired the dress with my knee high boots and a cute bow on the hair. When I bought the boots, I was between flat boots or heeled boots and I’m so glad I decided to go with the flat boots. You can really pair them with everything and anything!

Dress | Shoes

This final look is a lot more casual! I pulled out these Steve Madden sneakers (literally from the very back of my closet) and I thought the little heart design on the sneaker was a fun touch on the dress! You can really wear it with any type of sneakers and it will look as cute.

Happy Monday and I hope you have a great week!

Arizona Trip ReCap

Happy Monday!! It's been a while since I last wrote a blog post so I wanted to take a little recap! Two weeks ago, I took a trip to Tucson to visit my sister (hence, all of my dessert pictures!) and it was so much fun. For starters, I hadn't seen my sister and my nephew since Christmas so obviously, I was really happy to go and just be there. My parents and I have been going to Tucson once year and usually we take a trip somewhere else with my sister and her husband (for example, we've gone to the Grand Canyon and San Diego). But now due to COVID, we decided it would be safer to stay there in Tucson, and do some social-distance activities. So without further ado, here is what we did!
